May 11th @ 8:58am
Hello everyone!   Just a first entry to say 'hello' to everyone.   I love to write poetry, especially, and as well, my own quotes, like this one: "May the Love of God always touch and live within your heart!" - Artsie_ladie, aka Sharon Donnelly   "What Is Love?" URL WAS HERE L♥ve is when a name is mentioned, special thoughts arise. - Reminiscing memories with, but too, share a nice surprise. L♥ve is understanding, though you may not agree; - Patience and forgiveness, unconditional and free. L♥ve is respect, honesty, and trust, cultivated, shown; - The other's happiness paramount for and to your own. Tony Gray Owl
the WINGS of an ANGEL. by:Tony Gray Owl
Mar 12th @ 12:46pm
As I stood alone in the light of darkness a shadow passed me by, I turned to see who had touched me so very softly, so tenderly upon my heart I felt you go by, wait !!! I have a gift for you... the soft gentle words of the emotions within my heart I will give to you. It took me a life time too get here, I suppose it was because you were waiting for me here on the other side. All my Love and a thousand kisses like butterflies floating all around you touching, touching your heart, touching your lips, touching you, for you my lovely friend the joy that I spill out into the entirety of the world freely I give of my self to you. If I were the light, I would surround you in me and make all the dark lonely nights bright. If I were the sun I would be envious of the brightness of your smile. I…

Tony Gray Owl
welcome... to the INNER CIRCLE of LIFE, centre of higher understanding. by:Tony Gray Owl
Feb 15th @ 10:08pm
Tony Gray Owlan inspired eccentric genius gifted with rare talents. An extraordiniare composer of inspiring enlightening, illuminating, elavating works of poetry.Author of, the BOOK of LIFE as seen through the eyes of a stranger. An artist creating art work so rare that you can see here on this profile and is the only place in the world to see it as I invented the technique, I am the only person in history to create such works, I even had to create the tools that I do my marble and granite works with. A single diamond set into an iron stylus, and I draw the pictures upon the face of the polished stone. It takes years to create them thousands of tiny minute exacting strokes of the diamond against the face of the stones and thus these exquisite renderings come to life.A skilled sculptor o…

My latest egg tempera painting - see the process by:lindapaul
Feb 12th @ 1:04pm
I am an egg temepra painter and bas relief sculptor.  you can watch an egg tempera painting in process here http://www.lindapaul.com/Egg_Tempera_Painting_Process.asp   Linda Paul's original paintings are created in pure egg tempera made from crushed stone & egg yolk.   Many of the art works are sculptures as well as paintings. She is the only artist in North America with this technique. Artist  Linda Paul uses natural crushed stone and earth mixed with a bit of water and egg yolk to make paint for her egg tempera frescoes. Blues come from crushed lapis lazuli, greens from malachite and natural green earth found around Verona Italy. She uses fascinating colors which have been lost for hundreds of years and new colors which she has discovered in the Rocky Mou…

Art Neighbor Post: Selling Goods Online by:artneighbor
Feb 9th @ 9:50am
Artists could become very rich selling their goods on the internet. Home Artists typically want their works to be seen by as many people as possible. And, prior to the web and it's broad use, the exclusive method was displays in galleries. This is great if the gallery was in a great place, and if it was pretty accessible to a good amount of individuals. And there are still some benefits from the sale of art in a gallery. However, in today's busy world, few people can or may even desire to spend a large amount of time going from gallery to gallery. In addition, certain areas should not be a gallery of hundreds of kilometers. Therefore consider an artist to start selling online as art rather than continuing to use the parameters of gallery for art sales. Artists who decide to sell their ar…

The Nature of Life by:theartmarketer
Jan 31st @ 6:59am
My new blog post, The Nature of Life, is a Celebration of Friendship, Art & Nature. Read the full post below: Linda Jane Jackson and I grew up a few blocks away from each other on the south shore of Long Island in New York. Our childhood and teenage years were filled with birthday parties, braces, sweet sixteens, first loves, the thrill of getting our driver's license and turning old enough to legally buy a drink. How I fondly remember long walks on the beach, deep talks about life, drives through the neighborhood, leisurely lunches, sleepovers and late nights out. Linda was there through all those major milestones, the joy and the heartbreaks, the celebrations and the challenges, the loves and the losses, as I hope I was there for her. Soon after I married, I ha…

Mogilevskiy
World of things of Constantine Mogilevskiy by:Mogilevskiy
Jan 26th @ 5:48am
One of the genres applied to by Constantine Mogilevskiy is still-life painting.Today this genre is rarely being referred to by artists because being fastidious as to contentand art of execution it can be mastered only by real professionals. According to the authors opinion,‘still-life painting is a mould of history’ and you can only imagine the amount of time and effort spenton transferring spirit and essence of an epoch.Constantine Mogilevskiy is a virtuosic artist who has the power to embody the most complicated creative tasks. And this is not surprising for he was lucky to study at the legendary B. Kosaryev’s workshop.Constantine Mogilevskiy’s still-life paintings may be considered endlessly. These are for observant eye, unhurried study and understanding. There is …

Dbutrflys
For 2010 by:Dbutrflys
Apr 29th @ 7:29am
It's hard to believe the time has gone so fast, and now I'm 50 years old and it's the year 2010.  I remember as a child we were supposed to be flying around in personal flying ships.  So much for the 'space' imagination.   We're still in much of the same problems and living conditions that we faced say....20 years ago...      I remember reading either' Mine Compf' or a memior of Stallin or one of the socialistic or comunistic fellows when I was very young, about how  Socialism, and communismn would come from the inside not from the outside to destroy america, and I'm seeing it played out before my eyes....(It's too bad the space thing didn't come true) it tells me a lot about us as a people.........   &…

Were do you see video games going next? by:MadCat
Jan 9th @ 5:11pm
Many of us have played the highend consoles and have been gamers for many years. Games have changes dramaticly from the years of the Atari. But whats been a constant is the the way we view the game playing fileds, through a televison or computer monitor. Were do you guys think the next big revolution/evolutin of gaming will be.  I personally could see a holographic display device with a wireless control interface. That would eliminate the tethering of the device to a stationary display unit.…
