Principle Art Group, LLC operates ArtNeighbor.com (\"ArtNeighbor or \"we\"). This Privacy Policy describes ArtNeighbor\'s use and sharing of personally identifiable information (\"PII\") including, but not limited to, your full name, email address, mailing address, telephone number, and/or credit card number that Members voluntarily provide to ArtNeighbor. The Term \"User\" refers to a Visitor or a Member. This Privacy Policy applies to the services offered by ArtNeighbor, including the ArtNeighbor Gallery service, the ArtNeighbor chatroom service, the ArtNeighbor classified advertisement/bulletin board service, and any other features, content, or applications offered from time to time by ArtNeighbor in connection with the ArtNeighbor Website (collectively, the \"ArtNeighbor Services\"). The ArtNeighbor Services are hosted in the United States.
The ArtNeighbor Website is a general audience site and does not knowingly collect PII from children under 13 years of age. If ArtNeighbor learns that a posting is by a person under the age of 13, ArtNeighbor will remove that post.
From time to time ArtNeighbor may modify this Privacy Policy to reflect industry initiatives or changes in the law, our PII collection and use practices, the features of the ArtNeighbor Services, or technology, and such modifications shall be effective upon posting by ArtNeighbor on the ArtNeighbor Website. If we make any substantial changes in the way we use your data, we will notify you here, by posting a prominent announcement on our pages, or by email. Your continued use of the ArtNeighbor Services after ArtNeighbor posts a revised Privacy Policy signifies your acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy. It is therefore important that you review this Privacy Policy regularly to ensure you are updated as to any changes. If ArtNeighbor materially changes its practices regarding collection or use of your PII, your PII will continue to be governed by the Policy under which it was collected unless you have been provided notice of, and have not objected to, the change.
COLLECTION AND SUBMISSION OF PII AND NON-PII ON ARTNEIGHBOR.COM
General. When ArtNeighbor collects PII from you it is because you are voluntarily submitting PII to us in order to register as a Member of ArtNeighbor. ArtNeighbor may also collect PII from you if you choose to participate in ArtNeighbor Services activities like the purchase and sale of Items through the ArtNeighbor website, posting classified advertisements, participation in surveys, sweepstakes, and contests, or because you want us to furnish you with products, services, newsletters, or information, or in connection with content or suggestions you submit to ArtNeighbor for review.
In addition, ArtNeighbor may collect other non-PII including: IP address and Internet domain, aggregate user data, operating system and browser type. This data is used to manage and improve the ArtNeighbor Services, track usage, and for security purposes.
ArtNeighbor Members may also choose to provide or store non-PII information in their profiles, including but not limited to date of birth, participation in gallery/art shows, interests, hobbies, lifestyle choices, groups with whom they are affiliated (galleries, art dealerships, schools, companies), videos and/or pictures, private messages, blogs, bulletins or personal statements (collectively \"Profile Information\"). ArtNeighbor Members should be aware that any personally identifiable information you submit in your Profile Information can be read, collected, or used by other Members, and could be used to send you unsolicited messages. The Profile Information in a Member\'s profile is provided at his or her sole discretion.
ArtNeighbor Members can change their PII and Profile Information at any time and can control how Visitors, other Members and ArtNeighbor communicate with them by controlling their account settings, available within the \"Edit My Profile,\" \"Settings,\" and/or \"Edit My Contacts\" portions of their ArtNeighbor profile.
ArtNeighbor Members can choose to use our referral service to tell a friend about our site. We will ask for your friend\'s name and email address and will automatically send your friend a one-time email inviting him or her to visit the site. ArtNeighbor stores this information for the sole purpose of sending this one-time email and tracking the success of our referral program. Your friend may contact us at help@artneighbor.com to request that we remove this information from our database.
Cookies. Cookies are small bits of information that ArtNeighbor places on your computer. ArtNeighbor uses cookies to identify your Internet browser, store Users\' preferences, and determine whether you have installed the enabling software needed to access certain material on the ArtNeighbor Services. Data in cookies may be read to authenticate user sessions or provide services.
Third party advertisements displayed on ArtNeighbor Services may also contain cookies set by Internet advertising companies or advertisers (known as \"third party cookies\"). ArtNeighbor does not control these third party cookies and Users of the ArtNeighbor Services should check the privacy policy of the Internet advertising company or advertiser to see whether and how it uses cookies. A pixel tag is a tiny image inserted in a webpage and used to record the number and types of views for that page. ArtNeighbor allows third party pixel tags to be present on ArtNeighbor Services for purposes of advertising, providing services or data and statistics collection.
You can program your computer to warn you each time a cookie is being sent, block third party cookies or block all cookies. However, by blocking all cookies you may not have access to certain features on the ArtNeighbor Services.
NOTICE: ARTNEIGHBOR WILL PROVIDE YOU WITH NOTICE ABOUT ITS PII COLLECTION PRACTICES
When you voluntarily provide PII to ArtNeighbor, we will make sure you are informed about who is collecting the information, how and why the information is being collected and the types of uses ArtNeighbor will make of the information to the extent it is being used in a manner that differs from what is allowed pursuant to this Privacy Policy.
At the time you provide your PII, ArtNeighbor will notify you of your options regarding our use of your PII (See \"Choice\" below). Except as described in this Privacy Policy, ArtNeighbor will not share your PII with third parties unless you have given ArtNeighbor permission to do so (See \"Use\" below).
ArtNeighbor Services may be linked to Internet sites operated by other companies. When you use \"Add This\" to bookmark and share our products and site, you will be taken to a third party site. Please note that these third party sites\' privacy policies govern the collection and use of the information collected on those sites. ArtNeighbor Services may also carry advertisements from other companies. ArtNeighbor is not responsible for the privacy practices of websites or other services operated by third parties that are linked to or integrated with the ArtNeighbor Services or for the privacy practices of third party Internet advertising companies. Once you leave ArtNeighbor Services via such a link, access a third party application (such as widgets) or click on an advertisement, you should check the applicable privacy policy of the third party or advertiser site to determine, among other things, how they will handle any PII they collect from you.
ArtNeighbor Services may also be linked to sites operated by companies affiliated with ArtNeighbor (i.e., a provider of escrow services, such as safefunds.com). Users who visit those sites should still refer to their separate privacy policies and practices, which may differ in some respects from this Privacy Policy.
ArtNeighbor may use cookies and similar tools to customize the content and advertising you receive based on the Profile Information you have provided. Profile Information you provide in structured profile fields or questions (multiple choice questions like \"Marital Status,\" \"Education\" and \"Children\") (\"Structured Profile Information\"), information you add to open-ended profile fields and questions (essay questions like \"About Me,\" \"Interests\" and \"Movies\") (\"Non-Structured Profile Information\") and other non-PII about you may also be used to customize the online ads you encounter to those we believe are aligned with your interests. For example, based on your artistic interests we might display an advertisement to make sure you are advised when a gallery is hosting a particular artist\'s works. The information used for this feature does not provide your PII or identify you as an individual to third parties.
Some of the advertisements that appear on ArtNeighbor Services may also be delivered to you by third party Internet advertising companies. These companies utilize certain technologies to deliver advertisements and marketing messages and to collect non-PII about your visit to or use of ArtNeighbor Services, including information about the ads they display, via a cookie placed on your computer that reads your IP address. To obtain information about the technologies they use or their own privacy policies, please refer to the separate privacy policies and practices of these companies and/or send an email to info@artneighbor.com.
Third party applications (such as widgets) created by third party developers may also be available on the ArtNeighbor Services. Third party applications are small bits of software, often with interactivity, that can be installed into Members\' profiles or shared with other Users. However, ArtNeighbor does not control the third party developers, and cannot dictate their actions. When a Member engages with a third party application, that Member is interacting with the third party developer, not with ArtNeighbor. ArtNeighbor encourages Members not to provide PII to the third party\'s application unless the Member knows the party with whom it is interacting.
CHOICE: ARTNEIGHBOR WILL PROVIDE YOU WITH CHOICES ABOUT THE USE OF YOUR PII
Except as described in this Privacy Policy, ArtNeighbor will get your permission before we use the PII you provide to us in a way that is inconsistent with the purpose for which it was submitted or share your PII with third parties that are not affiliated with ArtNeighbor.
We may collect personal information if you provide it in feedback or comments, post it on our classifieds or interactive forums, or if you contact us directly. We are not responsible for the personally identifiable information you choose to submit in these forums. Please do not post any personal information on ArtNeighbor\'s forums or classifieds that you expect to keep private.
USE: ARTNEIGHBOR\'S USE OF PII
ArtNeighbor will only use the PII you provide under this Privacy Policy in a manner that is consistent with this Privacy Policy.
Third parties who will have access to your data include third party vendors providing services to Users of the ArtNeighbor website and buyers and sellers of property on ArtNeighbor with whom you have engaged for a potential transaction. ArtNeighbor obtains address information about you from third party sources to verify your address so we can properly ship your order to you and to prevent fraud. If ArtNeighbor obtains PII from a third party, such as a business partner, our use of that information is also governed by this Privacy Policy. Due to the nature of our business and to enable us to offer goods and services world-wide, your data may be transferred to, and held in, any country in the world.
In order to locate other ArtNeighbor Members that you may already know in the physical world, ArtNeighbor allows Users to search for Members using PII (i.e., username, keywords within profile data, geographical proximity, age, etc.). ArtNeighbor may also allow Users to browse for certain Profile Information in order to help connect with Members (i.e., schools and/or companies where Users may have attended or worked). ArtNeighbor may also enable Members to publicly display some PII as an element of their Profile Information if they choose to do so via a profile setting. Search engines may index the portion of a Member\'s profile (including the Profile Information it contains) that is publicly displayed.
ArtNeighbor does not sell, rent, share, trade or give away personal data other than as described in this Privacy Policy.
Based upon the personally identifiable information you provide us, ArtNeighbor will send you a welcoming email to verify your username and password. We will also communicate with you in response to your inquiries, to provide the services you request, and to manage your account. We will send you strictly service-related announcements on rare occasions when it is necessary to do so. For instance, if our service is temporarily suspended for maintenance, we might send you an email. Generally, you may not opt-out of these communications, which are not promotional in nature. If you do not wish to receive them, you have the option to deactivate your account by emailing us at admin@artneighbor.com. ArtNeighbor may periodically use your email address to send you promotional materials related to the ArtNeighbor Services, as applicable. If you want to stop receiving such materials from ArtNeighbor, you can change your account notification email preferences under \"Settings\" or follow the unsubscribe instructions at the bottom of each email.
ArtNeighbor employees, agents and contractors must have a business reason to obtain access to your PII. ArtNeighbor may share your PII with those who help us manage or provide ArtNeighbor Services\' information activities (for example, message board administration, statistical analyses, data and payment processing, marketing services), or with outside contractors, agents or sponsors who help us with the administration of the ArtNeighbor Services. If you choose to use PayPal to finalize and pay for your order, you will provide your billing information, such as a credit card number, directly to PayPal. We will not have access to this information. PayPal\'s privacy policy will apply to the information you provide on the PayPal website. If your purchase requires the use of an escrow service, you will be directed to our third party partner\'s site to create an account directly with them. Any information you provide to the third party escrow service is governed by their privacy policy. The escrow service will facilitate the purchase on behalf of ArtNeighbor and the buyer and will only share information necessary to complete the purchase.
These outside contractors, agents or sponsors may temporarily store some information on their servers, but they may only use your PII to provide ArtNeighbor with a specific service and not for any other purpose. ArtNeighbor may also provide your PII to a third party in those instances where you have chosen to receive certain information and have been notified that the fulfillment of such a request requires the sharing of your PII.
As described in \"Notice\" above, ArtNeighbor may customize the advertising and marketing messages you receive on the ArtNeighbor Website, or may work with outside companies to do so. Your non-PII and/or Profile Information may be shared with these companies so this customization can be accomplished. ArtNeighbor prohibits these companies from sharing your non-PII and/or Profile Information with any third party or from using it for any other purpose. Anonymous click stream, number of page views calculated by pixel tags, and aggregated demographic information may also be shared with ArtNeighbor\'s advertisers and business partners.
There may be instances when ArtNeighbor may access or disclose PII, Profile Information or non-PII without providing you a choice in order to: (i) protect or defend the legal rights or property of ArtNeighbor, agents and contractors (including enforcement of our agreements); (ii) protect the safety and security of Users of the ArtNeighbor Services or members of the public including acting in urgent circumstances; (iii) protect against fraud or for risk management purposes; or (iv) comply with the law or legal process. In addition, if ArtNeighbor sells all or part of its business or makes a sale or transfer of all or a material part of its assets or is otherwise involved in a merger or transfer of all or a material part of its business, ArtNeighbor may transfer your PII to the party or parties involved in the transaction as part of that transaction.
When a Member who is located in the European Union chooses to post Profile Information that will be publicly disclosed, that Member is responsible for ensuring that such information conforms to all local data protection laws. ArtNeighbor is not responsible under the EU local data protection laws for Member-posted information.
When a Member located in other jurisdictions outside of the United states visits the ArtNeighbor Website and provides us with data, that Member acknowledges and agrees that due to the international dimension of ArtNeighbor.com, we may use the data collected in the course of our relationship for the purposes identified in this Policy or in our other communications with that Member, including the transmission of information outside the Member\'s resident jurisdiction. In addition, such data may be stored on servers located in the United States. By providing us with such data, international Members consent to the transfer of such data.

In addition, ArtNeighbor uses reasonable methods to make sure that PII is accurate, up-to-date and appropriately complete. Although ArtNeighbor makes good faith efforts to store the information in a secure operating environment that is not available to the public, we cannot guarantee complete security.
Please keep your user ID and password confidential. If you share your computer, we recommend that you log-out after visiting the site in order to protect the confidentiality of your data including your credit card information, your offer status and buying history.
